Popup exhibition SEAT displays concept chairs designed by 1st year students of interior architecture and architecture at the Estonian Academy of Art over the last 3 years. Every year, students are challenged to build seating furniture using only a tiny slice of plywood, thin sticks and glue – but the result has to carry its creator. How much material does it take to carry a human body? Design supervised by Ilkka Suppanen, Martin Relander and Yrjö Wiherheimo, woodwork instruction: Avo Tragel.
